The tribe announced the decision in a news release. The Pala Band of Mission Indians announced on Wednesday morning that it would temporarily shutter Pala Casino, Spa and Resort in northern San Diego County by Friday, March 20 due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Pala Casino, Spa & Resort in northern San Diego County and Cahuilla Casino in Anza are the most recent casino properties to close their doors temporarily amid concerns over the novel coronavirus, officials for each of the casinos announced Wednesday, March 18.
